William Dashwood

William Dashwood began his performing career as a singer/songwriter. In search of improved presentation he turned to mime and went on to study in Paris with Etienne Decroux, the father of modern mime. After more than thirty years of miming he has re-found his voice and returned to writing and performing songs and poems.

Mime is poetry in motion,

Music is the movement of sound,

Both represent the movements of the soul.
